The NC Collaboratory is requesting proposals from faculty at universities in North Carolina to study the administrative structures, operational models, and educational best practices for each of North Carolina’s three specialty schools for Deaf and Blind students: the Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf (ENCSD), the North Carolina School for the Deaf (NCSD), and the Governor Morehead School for the Blind (GMS). Given the varied community contexts of each School and unique needs of Deaf and Blind students, the Collaboratory will fund three studies – one per School. Applicants will specify which School they aim to study and partner with in their applications.
