The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) supports innovative educational activities for graduate/medical students, medical residents, postdoctoral scholars, and early-career investigators to advance state-of-the-art research skills in mental health. Proposed short courses should develop, implement, and evaluate interactive, cutting-edge training in tools, techniques, and approaches relevant to mental health research. Eligible applicants include small businesses, for-profit organizations, educational institutions (private, public, and independent), nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status, including other Native American tribal organizations), federally recognized Native American tribal governments, city, county, state, and special district governments, public and Indian housing authorities, and other entities.
