The W. Trent Ragland, Jr. Foundation supports organizations that promote self-reliance; patriotism; independence; respect for God, country and family; initiative; conservation; knowledge; compassion; and community primarily in Wake County, NC. The principal intent is to allow individuals to pursue and achieve self-improvement by giving "a hand up, not a hand out".
